BTNZ Community Auctions — Rules & How-To
- All auctions are created and managed by individual BTNZ Community members. BTNZ provides the platform only and does not hold funds or products.
- To place a bid, open the auction listing and submit a comment in the exact format BID $123.
- Your bid must clearly show the full NZD amount. Edited, unclear, or incomplete bids may be disregarded by the seller.
- The highest valid bid at the seller’s stated end time is the winner.
- Bids are locked by the visible timestamp on the listing’s comment thread. No bids are accepted after the closing time.
- Once the auction ends, the winning bidder should use the Contact Seller button on the listing to connect with the seller via the BTNZ Community (Discourse) chat.
- The buyer and seller must communicate through BTNZ Community chat to arrange payment and shipping directly.
- All trades are strictly buyer vs seller. Always complete your own due diligence before sending funds or goods.
- BTNZ may remove any listings, bids, or user activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, or harmful to the community.
