BTNZ Community Barter Listings — Rules & How-To
- All barter listings are created and managed by individual BTNZ Community members. BTNZ provides the platform only and does not hold funds, goods, or act as an intermediary.
- Barter listings are for trade-based deals. This can include metals for metals, metals for goods, goods for metals, services, or any combination agreed between both parties.
- To make an offer, open the barter listing and submit a comment clearly stating your proposal (for example: OFFER: 5oz silver or OFFER: 1/10oz gold + $150).
- All offers must be clear and complete. Edited, unclear, or misleading offers may be disregarded by the seller.
- The seller decides which offer to accept. Acceptance is typically confirmed by a reply in the comment thread.
- Once an offer is accepted, the buyer should use the Contact Seller button on the listing to connect with the seller via BTNZ Community (Discourse) chat.
- The buyer and seller then communicate privately through BTNZ Community chat to finalise trade terms, top-up cash differences (if any), shipping, or meet-up arrangements.
- All trades are strictly buyer vs seller. Always carry out your own due diligence before sending money, metals, goods, or services.
- BTNZ may remove any listings, comments, or activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, or harmful to the community.
