BTNZ uses Shopify’s ecommerce infrastructure to manage checkout and subscription services. This means member purchases and recurring subscription management are handled through established commerce systems rather than a custom-built payment setup.

We take customer trust, privacy, and account security seriously, and aim to use dependable platforms and practical safeguards across the site to help provide a reliable membership experience.

BTNZ Membership & Subscription Policy

This policy explains how BTNZ memberships and recurring subscriptions work on BullionTrade.nz

1. Membership types

  • Silver: Free membership tier.
  • Gold: Recurring paid membership, currently NZ$21/month.
  • Platinum Sponsor: Recurring paid membership, currently NZ$29/month.

Silver is a free entry-level membership. Gold and Platinum Sponsor are paid subscription memberships that renew automatically until cancelled.

2. What you’re agreeing to

By purchasing a BTNZ paid membership on a subscription basis, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly schedule until you cancel.

  • Billing currency: New Zealand Dollars (NZD)
  • Billing frequency: Monthly, as shown on the product page at checkout
  • First payment: Charged immediately at checkout

3. Billing & renewals

  • Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
  • Future payments are charged automatically using the payment method attached to your subscription.
  • If a payment fails, Shopify may retry according to its standard retry schedule. We may suspend or remove paid membership access until payment is resolved.

4. How to cancel

You can cancel your paid membership at any time before the next renewal date:

  1. Log in to your BTNZ customer account using the same email used at checkout.
  2. Go to Manage subscriptions in your account area.
  3. Select your BTNZ membership and choose Cancel.

Cancelling stops future renewals only. It does not refund any current or past billing period already paid.

5. What happens if you cancel

If your paid membership is cancelled, expires, or ends for any reason, access to paid BTNZ features and gated benefits is removed when the paid period ends.

  • Gold: Gold-only perks, Discord access, and member features tied to paid status are removed.
  • Platinum Sponsor: Sponsor placement, Platinum benefits, and included Gold-level access are removed.

Silver remains the free entry-level membership where applicable, but paid-only benefits do not continue after cancellation or expiry.

6. Upgrades, downgrades & price changes

We may update membership pricing, perks, inclusions, or access rules from time to time.

  • If the price of an active paid subscription changes, we will aim to notify you in advance.
  • You may cancel before the next renewal if you do not wish to continue at the updated price.
  • Moving between membership levels may require starting the new membership product selected at checkout.

7. Refunds

BTNZ memberships and subscription payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where required by New Zealand consumer law.

This includes partial periods, unused time, cancelled access during a live billing cycle, and subscription payments already processed before cancellation.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us as soon as possible and we will review the issue.
